Securing a second passport through real estate investment is a highly structured legal process in Turkey. Following the recent updates to the investment guidelines, the legal frameworks have become more transparent, ensuring investor protections and accelerated processing times for families.
The fundamental requirement for citizenship is the purchase of real estate valued at a minimum of $400,000 USD. This value must be verified by a licensed valuation expert and confirmed through formal bank transfer receipts. Crucially, the funds must move directly from the buyer's overseas account to the seller's Turkish bank account, with a currency exchange certificate (DAB) issued by the Central Bank of Turkey.
"Compliance is the single most critical factor. By ensuring all banking transactions, valuation reports, and title deed restrictions are aligned from day one, we can secure citizenship approvals for clients within 90 to 120 days."

The complete application is submitted to the General Directorate of Population and Citizenship Affairs. After security clearance and presidential approval, national ID cards and Turkish passports are issued. This grants full citizen status, including voting rights, public healthcare, and visa-free travel to over 110 destinations.
